I have written lately of my own Live Rock journey and how it did end up wrecked on the rocks again and again.
Still it is an incredible improvement to have recovered from virtual paralysis a number of times and be able to write and compose and play instruments and most of all to have been able to dance on stage and perfrorm on Harmonica with LIVE ROCK BANDS.

HEARD ABOUT ME
THIS IS A RECORDING FROM THE END OF MY "OUT AND ABOUT" PERIOD WHERE I SONY "HX PRO" TAPED ANY ORIGINAL LYRICS AND MUSIC THAT I HAD CONCEIVED. I SEQUENCED MY KURZWEIL K2000 V 1 TO PLAY THE ORIGINAL SYNTHESIZED SCORE AND I RECORDED THAT LIVE,WITH MY LIVE AMPLIFIED VOCAL AND HARMONICA PERFORMANCE WITH NO CUTS.
HAVE YOU HEARD ME, PERFORMING LIVE WITH A WELL REHEARSED BAND?
DID YOU HEAR ME PERFORM WITH MY FORTY FOUR HARMONICA, 14 SCALES X 3 TYPES OF TUNING, EACH FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE, FULL SET OF HARMONICAS?
THE EXTRA TWO HARMONICAS WERE AN F UNDER A AND AN A OVER F. THERE WERE ALSO A FEW ODD HARMONICAS, TINY SHARP ONES AND CUMBERSOME CHROMATICS.
THERE WERE POLICE OFFICERS IN VANCOUVER BC WHO HAD HEARD ME AND SEEN ME WHO "KNEW WHAT WE WERE TRYING TO DO" BY PERFORMING AND DID NOT THINK I WAS CRAZY.
THE SOOKE RCMP HAD NOT HEARD ME PERFORM THEY HAD HEARD MY WIFE'S EXPERT TESTIMONY THAT I WAS CRAZY, I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO BE A ROCK STAR SHE SAID. THAT WAS ALL THE RCMP POLICE IN SOOKE BC HAD TO HAVE HEARD.
What is the Heard connotation? That is that what I was doing, particularly at the end of my "out and about period", was going around sitting in with any band I could sit in with anywhere, usually in Vancouver, but in London England once upon a time, which is what Johnny Depp did. I was not famous but I could fit in with any kind of band and play anything they wished to play.
The other relevant parallels between my musical adventures and Johnny Depp's is that he had some sort of music scene happening like my SPACE JAM which ran for many years. John Depp II went around writing lyrics and probably tunes as well like I did. Depp was able to cruise around Los Angeles and New York and London and I was unlawfully confined here at Otter Point House with Moron Police collaborating with my Moron Ex-Wife like a bunch of bullies that have stolen a kid's hat or shoes and fling them away depriving the person of their prized possession, in my case my possession was my way out of the Basement Workshop.
I TRIED REALLY HARD AND PRACTICED ANY TIME I COULD WITH A LIVE BAND OR ALL ALONE WITH CD'S. TO BE DEFAMED, OVERRULED, SIDELINED, TERRORIZED AND PARALYZED BY MY WIFE, MY FAMILY, THE POLICE, AND EVEN THE DOGCATCHERS ON VANCOUVER ISLAND NOT IN VANCOUVER IS TERRIBLE.
DESPERATE TO GET TO PLAY I COMPOSED MY OWN TUNES, I SEQUENCED MY KEYBOARD COMPOSITIONS AND I TAPED AND VIDEOTAPED AND PRACTICED.
That shoes fling happened. I in the mid 1980's, in the midst of abject poverty with $10 Chinese sneakers for myself, found a pair of $100 Nike's on sale for $50. I was going to save Vince from the humiliation of the $10 canvas shoes by buying him the Nike Air Basketball Shoes. I bought them. $50 + tax really cost me, it meant that I would have even less disposable income than the $10 sneaker level of purchasing power for myself. I could literally financially perish at any moment from a vehicle breakdown or a ticket or a Police charge which they were out to "Collard is an Environmentalist seeking confrontation" charge me over because I tried to obtain remedy for terrible deliberate environmental damage done to my property.
When Vincent had to take his street shoes off and put in the Gym only shoes on a Sooke John Muir School Bully grabbed his shoes and threw them up onto the school roof. They were gone and Vince had to continue on in his old Trek Canvas Sneakers.
