THEY PERFORMED RAP RHYTHMS SO THAT EVEN I A ROCK BIGOT THOUGHT THE WERE VERY CATCHY AND VERY PERSUASIVE OF THE MOOD THEY WANTED TO CREATE.

NEVERTHELESS I SAT IN WITH TONY'S BANDS A FEW TIMES. I JOINED HIM IN MY USUAL WRITING SESSIONS,TO PLAY THE NEW MUSIC OF SUE MEDLEY WHERE HE WAS A SIDEMAN, PERHAPS HIS MOST REAL AND VALUABLE ROLE AS A MUSICIAN. HE SAID THAT I HAD ORIGINATED MOST OF THE "RATCHES", THE SOARING ACCURATE EXPANSION OF THE SONG INTO AN EXPLOSIVE LEAD.
