My Uncle Connie played the Chromatic Harmonica, I had a few of them when I was a child. He died, I was told in a bomber over Germany during World War Two. There is more but is it true?
My Uncle Francis, nicknamed Boo, played trumpet with famous musicians, or that is what I heard. He did have the Frank Collard band which I will look into though I read that little is known. This photo may have been posted after Francis' death.
I did not know my Uncle was only 11 years older than myself until just recently and he had died last year, too bad, I think he would have enjoyed knowing that I was musically inclined. I saw a passing reference to his work backing Lou Reid, I wonder was that the Velvet Underground Lou Reid?
In the Family Tradition, I am unknown. Charles Vincent Collard wanted to have a son or grandson who was a famous musician.
