ONE MORE TIME NOW EVERYBODY: THIS IS WHY WE DO IT

FRANK ZAPPA'S THE MOTHERS OF INVENTION MUST HAVE BEEN A THRILL!

THEY DID IT TO MAKE AMAZING SOUNDS I DID IT TO MAKE AMAZING SOUNDS

THERE WERE AMAZING SONGS TO COVER WHY WAS COVERING DOO-WOP AND OLD BLUES CLOGGING THE BARS.

I TOOK UP GUITAR IN 1965, PURCHASING A KAY JUMBO ACOUSTIC, IN ORDER TO BE POPULAR AT PARTIES. WORKING IN THE RAILROAD YARD EXPOSED ME TO  UNUSUAL RUMBLINGS, SQUEALING AND THE LONG STEEL RAIL'S RINGING. I BEGAN TO PLAY HARMONICA, WHICH I HAD FIRST DONE AT THE AGE OF FOUR. I PLAYED ALONG WITH THE ROARING ENGINES, I PLAYED ALONG WITH THE RINGING.

HAPPY DAY WHEN I GOT A MICROPHONE AND A 1951 FENDER SUPER AMP TO PLAY MY HONER SPECIAL 20 HARMONICAS.

There are so many expansions of Harmonica Sound created by  amplification.

Somewhere along this evolution I became enamored of Psychedelic sound.

The most incredibly fascinating musical experience is the creation of new music.

When the music is constructed of incredible sounds the music transports the listener.

THAT MUSIC TRANSPORTS THE MUSICIAN TO EXTRAORDINARY NEW REALITIES, INSPIRING EVEN MORE EXCITING MUSIC

IF THERE IS NO EXCITING NEW THRILL, WHAT IS THE POINT, SOMETHING TO SNOOZE OFF TO OR DRINK TO?

THERE WERE AMAZING NEW SONGS TO COVER WHY WAS COVERING DOO-WOP AND OLD BLUES CLOGGING THE BARS.

HERE IS TO THE THRILL OF ACID ROCK!

Postscript: Saturday Night Live June 11 2021 "Saint Vincent" was like a scene of a musical performance faked in a movie where the band was just part of the scene.
