I am pleased to declare that Jack White has done it on Saturday Night Live October 10, 2020.
The Hard Rock Bass and Drums only with a symphonic and orchestral mastery of tone and riffing expansively guitar does recreate the greatness of the Rock Band.
I remember that Jack danced as he played. I would do a similar choreography, which helps to keep time and rock the guitar on your fingers. He did not seem to use his whammy bar nor did I see him but once make an effects pedal change. White makes it happen through movement slinging the guitar on his fingertips, picking and sliding along the strings to create changes in tone and rhythm.
Jack White produced dynamic and relevant leads with an explosive onset and perfect return to the root progressions.
His voice is not up to the standard set with his guitar.
